Living off the Cuff

In Summer 2016, I was set to take a trip with my girlfriend to Alabama. Two weeks before the trip she broke up with me. I had the time off with nowhere to go. It just so happened that it overlapped with Wimbledon -- a long-time dream for me to attend.

I decided to spontaneously travel to London and figure it out. On tournament morning, I joined the Queue to settle in for 5 hours of anticipation. The person behind me in line was my age and from Bellingham! She knew several of my good friends. She was traveling to deal with the horrendous grief of losing an infant child. We spent the day together and bonded in the experience. Upon entering, we enjoyed another queue and before the day was over we caught the final set of Serena and the entire Federer match on Centre Court! (This pic taken there). She became a dear friend and celebrated with me at my wedding last Summer.

In the years since, I have traveled to Wimbledon multiple times and to each major tournament. Sports has been this constant in my life -- amidst the chaos of life. I have found some of my best decisions were the ones made off the cuff. I have started this company to share this experience with others and for each to mark their own stories with powerful moments...to escape the chaos. The chaos of Covid delayed my own plans, but we are full steam ahead for Wimbledon this Summer. Serena and Federer are gone, but there is still time to catch Djokovic and Nadal and the future with Coco and Alcaraz.
