The Itinerary

Tuesday, June 27
Experience "The Queue" at Wimbledon. Rise early to experience Wimbledon like the locals do: picnic and witness all sorts of brilliant people-watching. The wait is well worth it, though! Wander the back courts and be merely feet from world-class players during the first round. Bring a rain jacket to be ready for a typical British summer!
3
Wednesday, June 28
Take a day trip to Cambridge and see what this historic university town has to offer. Walk in the places that figures such as Isaac Newton and Charles Darwin walked. See the many Colleges and hear the history of the town itself. Punt along the picturesque river.

Thursday, June 29
We will start at the Mall to watch the Changing of the Guard. We'll then head to Westminster Abbey—one of the oldest and important cathedrals in London in regard to history, royalty, and politics. After lunch, deepen your knowledge of British and world history with a tour of the Churchill War Rooms. You will have an option to pop into the National Gallery (free!). Drinks at a historic wine bar with vaulted ceilings and old Victorian decor.
5
Friday, June 30
Work on your serve and volley game as we play on authentic grass courts at the Ealing Lawn Tennis Club! The evening is yours to explore town, but it might be a perfect day to check out the theater scene at the West End.
6
Saturday, July 1
Tour the South Bank of London! We will start at the Tower of London where the Crown Jewels are stored and where many have met their untimely demise. Walk across to the Borough Market for lunch then stroll past Shakespeare's Globe Theater, Tate Modern, and cross the Millennium Bridge. Enter St Paul's Cathedral and the Roman Amphitheater in the Guildhall. We will have an amazing tapas dinner and wrap up the day from the top of the Shard for a sunset view of London.

Sunday, July 2
Come study time and space at the Royal Observatory in Greenwich! Take a charming river cruise along the River Thames. Straddle the Prime Meridian and see the origins of Greenwich Mean Time. Wander around the Cutty Sark (world's last surviving tea clipper), Queen's House, Greenwich Park, or Greenwich Market.

Alternately for a more restful day, opt out of Greenwich and explore London on your own. Perhaps ramble through a Sunday market?https://www.visitlondon.com/things-to-do/shopping/market/sunday-markets-london

Monday, July 3
Farewell Manic Monday. Beginning in 2022, what was once the most exciting day in tennis is now split across the middle Sunday and Monday. Experience the fourth round. To watch from Centre court, wait in the Resale Queue or by buying Debenture tickets (We can secure this for you, but they are expensive). Enjoy traditional treats like Strawberries and Cream and a refreshing Pimm's Cup.
